Depending on the style, there are two ways to clean your SAOLAs. In both cases, be sure to remove the insoles first.
For these models:
TSAVO - WANAKA KNIT - CANNON KNIT - WANAKA CANVAS - CANNON CANVAS - VIRUNGA, take out the cork insole before machine washing your shoes. Use a gentle cycle and keep the water temperature below 30°C (86°F)
For these models:
WANAKA - WANAKA WATERPROOF - WANAKA WATERPROOF WARM - ALTA VIBRAM – BERGEN (ALL) - CANNON - CANNON WATERPROOF - CANNON KNIT WOOL - TSAVO WOOL - TSAVO WATERPROOF - CANNON LINEN - CANNON VL - SEQUOIA, first, remove the cork insole. Then, wash your shoes by hand using a sponge and mild soap.
To clean your insoles, simply remove them from the shoes and wash gently by hand using a sponge and mild soap
If you are in between two shoe sizes, we recommend sizing up.

It was a struggle to get the right size, I'm normally a 9 (42 Euro), but after a couple tries, found the 10.5 to be the right fit. They look good! High arch which is a little tiring on this first day of wearing them, but should work out well in the end walking the cobblestone streets of Rome and Florence. Very hard to find decent looking vegan shoes. I searched hard, but I am very pleased. Thank you.

The brown is hideous. I bought a similar pair a couple years back that had a better shade of brown, it was darker and went with more outfits. This sizing just didn’t work, these boots run very narrow.
I wasn’t happy with the fit of the shoes, I tried the 11 and 11.5 and both didn’t fit. I was also unexpressed with their look.
Comfortable, but made from sub-par materials. I’ve only worn them a handful of times and the soles are flaking off in little pieces and the ‘leather’ is splitting where it flexes. I’ll stick to the knit shoes and get ‘boots’ elsewhere.
Too small - will have to return. I wear size 11 but even with thin socks these boots were too small. Difficult to even get my foot into the boot. I also found the shoelace length to be too small. They look like great quality and the cork insole probably provides fantastic support and comfort. Unfortunately I will have to return them.
Back of the heel can create chaffing on the left shoe. Build standard is not identical for both shoes.
Loved the high top wakana canvas shoes . These are super bulky and stiff and just way too bulky
This was my first purchase and it won’t be my last. Shoes are great, look smart and fit perfectly.

Good shoes that seem sturdy. Waterproof and warm. They feel like hiking shoes—rigid but comfortable. Removable insoles are practical for airing them out. The perfect choice for winter.

These shoes are insane. I rarely write reviews, but I had to take the time for this one. I’ve been wearing them for 4 months, and they still look like new. The vegan leather hasn’t worn at all, even though I wear them almost every day. Recently, I went up to the Vercors for 5 days during a full snowstorm. We walked through deep snow—my shoes were buried under 50cm of snow—and they stayed waterproof and warm. I absolutely loved my Saolas!!! 😍😍😍

They run small (I usually wear size 43 but exchanged for 44), but that’s my only complaint. Comfortable, completely waterproof, and warm—the perfect qualities I expect from winter sneakers! Now to see if they’ll be sturdy and durable over time.
It was a gift, and the person loved them! Very comfortable. Just be sure to go one size up from your usual. Customer service was excellent—very quick size exchange!
My third pair of Saolas—always ultra-comfortable, and this time with added warmth and waterproofing. They also seem very durable, though I’ll confirm that over time. In any case, they give a strong first impression of quality.

Placed an order, but unfortunately the shoes were too small! I returned them without any issues—customer service was helpful and very kind. The refund was processed smoothly. I received my new order (if you’re between sizes, definitely go with the larger one) and… it was PERFECT! Great quality shoes, exceptional comfort, and really nice colors! Cool shoes
I have always struggled with cold feet and these boots changed the game. I never leave reviews and based on how these have performed, felt that it was necessary to share what a difference these have made in Denver winters. Thank you!
The fit is pretty good (usually a women's 10w -11 purchased a mens 10) still a little narrow in the toebox, but hopefully that will loosen up over time.
The Bergen WP shoes kept my feet warm and dry for a week in cold, wet weather. They're well-designed but I did experience issues with the sizing which necessitated a return. The return process is not a big problem (if the return protection is purchased up-front) but in this case, it did require the selection of a less desirable color to accommodate the larger size.
First crash test of these shoes, worn for a week in heavy rain for 2 hours—result: my feet are still dry! As for comfort, it's there, and the style is great too!

Great style and great comfort with these shoes. No surprises with sizing (stick to your sneaker/running shoe size). Tested in rain and some slush—my feet stayed dry. The trade-off for waterproofing is that they get warm inside, which is perfectly manageable (even enjoyable) in winter but might not be ideal in summer—we’ll see...
