Depending on the style, there are two ways to clean your SAOLAs. In both cases, be sure to remove the insoles first.
For these models:
TSAVO - WANAKA KNIT - CANNON KNIT - WANAKA CANVAS - CANNON CANVAS - VIRUNGA, take out the cork insole before machine washing your shoes. Use a gentle cycle and keep the water temperature below 30°C (86°F)
For these models:
WANAKA - WANAKA WATERPROOF - WANAKA WATERPROOF WARM - ALTA VIBRAM – BERGEN (ALL) - CANNON - CANNON WATERPROOF - CANNON KNIT WOOL - TSAVO WOOL - TSAVO WATERPROOF - CANNON LINEN - CANNON VL - SEQUOIA, first, remove the cork insole. Then, wash your shoes by hand using a sponge and mild soap.
To clean your insoles, simply remove them from the shoes and wash gently by hand using a sponge and mild soap
If you are in between two shoe sizes, we recommend sizing up.

They look great but they are not comfortable and they run slightly small.

I can’t seem to modify my earlier review so I’m submitting a second. After some back and forth about a missing pair, the customer service team resolved. Love the shoes and own three pairs.
Ordered 2 pairs. Only one pair showed up. Reached out to customer service and they said that they would “look into it.” Over a week later and still nothing.
Wonderfully comfortable. Curious to see how they wear over time.

They didn’t hold to their delivery date…or even shipping date. The heel is very narrow and very stiff. Still an extremely stylish shoe and comfortable upper.

About 1 size smaller than standard. Otherwise, I like them. My Saola Cannon are true to size.
