Depending on the style, there are two ways to clean your SAOLAs. In both cases, be sure to remove the insoles first.
For these models:
TSAVO - WANAKA KNIT - CANNON KNIT - WANAKA CANVAS - CANNON CANVAS - VIRUNGA, take out the cork insole before machine washing your shoes. Use a gentle cycle and keep the water temperature below 30°C (86°F)
For these models:
WANAKA - WANAKA WATERPROOF - WANAKA WATERPROOF WARM - ALTA VIBRAM – BERGEN (ALL) - CANNON - CANNON WATERPROOF - CANNON KNIT WOOL - TSAVO WOOL - TSAVO WATERPROOF - CANNON LINEN - CANNON VL - SEQUOIA, first, remove the cork insole. Then, wash your shoes by hand using a sponge and mild soap.
To clean your insoles, simply remove them from the shoes and wash gently by hand using a sponge and mild soap
If you are in between two shoe sizes, we recommend sizing up.

However, looking at your order history, you ordered the Tsavo Knit two years ago, whereas this order is for the Tsavo Wool. While the design is similar, the upper material is entirely different — which may explain the confusion. Thanks! SAOLA team
The stars are for the shoes. The shoes are comfortable and worth it. My overall experience with this company is very negative. The two to five day delivery was a lie in my case. I contacted the customer service and was told that they wash their hands clean of the product after it has shipped. My shoes remained in one place for five days and the company did nothing to help me out other than telling me "they understand my frustration." Needless to say, from my interactions with this company, these will be my first and last pair of shoes from them. And it's not even the shoe's fault.

They are great shoes that fit well and are very comfy! Look great too!!
Comfortable, easy on/off, breathable. Shoes are kind of loose, laces don’t really work to tighten shoe.
When Vans discontinued their Ultrarange VR3 knit shoe, I was very dissappointed. I've been searching for something similar for a while now and these are the best i've found, in fact better than my beloved Vans!
Very narrow and I didn’t like the tightness around the ankle. I’ve got another pair of Saola’s that I love, but these were a no go.
I would love these in solid blue, do you have those coming? I found this brand totally by accident, and very happy that I did! This shoe is absurdly comfortable, but in the most healthy way for your foot. All of my shoes will come from here from now on, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great shoes! They do run a half size small. This is true with the many pairs I own. The style and comfort keep me buying more.
Nice looking shoe. But having trouble finding a size that fits my husband. Runs really small for him. I’m in the process of exchanging for 3rd size right now and no 12-1/2 is made, so hopefully 13 is not too big. He’s usually 11-1/2.
USPS evidently misplaced my order at the Denver sorting station for a week between Jan. 17 and Jan. 24. I spent 30 minutes tracing the package the morning of Jan. 24. Then USPS advised the package had been located within a hour after my trace. It was finally delivered on Jan. 25th. This was a very frustrating experience and I came close to canceling my order.

Good purchase experience at Louisville Ecotober event! Shoes look great but it’s a little loose at the heel but not loose enough where the shoe comes off.

RUNS SMALL. I have a pair of Cannon Knits in the same size and this product is almost half an inch shorter than those.
